GypSy Guide: The Best Travel App

Before your next road trip, be sure to download the travel app, GypSy Guide. This app was suggested to me by a friend before our Yellowstone & Grand Tetons trip this past summer. This was the first time I’ve used an app for this purpose. It is hands down, the best app I’ve ever bought.

The travel app uses GPS to determine your location. Then the audio tour starts based on where you are on the road. This was especially helpful in Yellowstone where we had no cell service for days.

It’s a wealth of information providing history, stories, hikes, tips, directions and a dash of humor along the way. My kids enjoyed listening to it which is saying a lot!

After downloading the app, I would recommend previewing it before your trip. It’s loaded with information about trip highlights, suggested itineraries, as well as other helpful tips that are relevant about where you are going, like road closures, wildlife watching etc…
